Annual gathering 2024

The Assembly of First Nations' Council of Elected Women recently held its third meeting in Wendake on February 13th - 14th. Over thirty remarkable women gathered to participate in this significant event. Their voices, experiences and ideas resonated throughout the meeting rooms, creating a space for exchange and collaboration.

National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nipinak and Quebec Lieutenant-Governor Manon Jeanotte graced the gathering with their presence and shared valuable insights.

We invite you to listen to the superb report produced by Sushan Bacon, capturing the essence of these enriching exchanges.

Together, we continue to move forward, support each other and make our voices heard for a better future for all First Nations women. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this meeting a resounding success!
